While in the Start Menu, go to Settings in the right slide menu. You basically need to disable the optical pointer in Device Manager. This isn't an ideal fix but it works as far as I can tell. It seems like this is caused by a conflict between the bluetooth mouse and the optical pointer on the keyboard. Looks like I figured out a workaround for those using the TPT2 bluetooth keyboard and a bluetooth mouse.
